Two new benches and two picnic tables have been installed, providing seating and gathering spaces for residents to enjoy. The board is also continuing to explore options for installing a pergola over the existing concrete pad to provide shade and enhance the park experience. In addition, new signage has been ordered for both neighborhood parks and will be installed as soon as it arrives. The signs will outline park guidelines and usage rules to help ensure our parks remain safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for all residents. Because Sunrise Park does not have a water source, we'll be asking for the assistance of neighbors whose properties border the park to help refill the tree watering bags while the new trees become established. We greatly appreciate the community's support in helping these trees thrive. Our goal is to plant the new trees in early fall, when cooler temperatures and seasonal rainfall will help the trees establish strong root systems while reducing their watering needs during the summer months.
